WORLD DAY OF THE POOR

November 17, the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time, is the World Day of the Poor. Society of Saint Vincent de Paul invites you to help our less fortunate brothers and sisters, especially at this uncertain time. We encourage you to lend a hand by participating in our collection of WINTER SOCKS & FUNDRAISING.   In this very busy period, we always need volunteers and, of course, financial help is always appreciated. FUNDRAISING ON SUNDAY NOVEMBER 17, 2024: SSVP-OLGC plans to donate 200 gifts for the poor and homeless in our community.  Each gift has a financial value of $25, and include necessities such as winter socks, underwear, personal hygiene products, scarves for ladies, winter hats, gloves, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap bars, and chocolate/cookies.  Please consider donating to sponsor a gift. We will write your name on the gift. Your donation can be any amount you desire (tax receipts will be issued or added on your OLGC account if requested). Non-financial gifts, such as winter socks, are appreciated as well.
